Sereina Hatt-Giger was born in 1994 and grew up with six siblings in a large family in the mountains of Graubünden, Switzerland. At the age of 16, she began her design education at the Schule für Gestaltung in Zurich. During her four-year training, she worked in her father‘s atelier, gaining hands-on experience in design. For her graduation project, she wrote her first major text, a work exploring homelessness in Switzerland. Her capstone project was nominated at the Zurich Vocational School, where it sparked her passion for writing. After graduating, she worked as a Designer on a wide range of design projects.
In 2024, Sereina began writing fiction and published her first Boys‘ Love fiction under the pen name Novasese, reaching more than 150,000 readers worldwide. Over the following months, she completed two additional novels before beginning work on her current project, Silent Meadow.
